There’s still time to get that bikini body!

Summer is finally upon us (despite the current rain) and getting fit for the holidays has to be at the top of most women’s lists.  It’s the time of year when we are inundated with women looking to detox, banish cellulite, tighten up loose skin and lose inches from their mid-section.  Whilst there is no quick, last-minute fix, there are some fantastic treatments that will help you to get that bikini-body in no time.

Reducing cellulite and localised fat

Cellulite is one of those universal problems that affects women of all shapes and sizes.  Unfortunately, there is nothing that can fix it permanently, as even liposuction doesn’t change its appearance, but there are many things that can be done to reduce it long term.

Endermologie has long since topped the list of treatments that has proven to be effective at reducing the appearance of unsightly lumps and bumps.  It is in fact, the only medically-proven treatment to address all the concerns of cellulite, loose skin and localised fat.

It is a technique that uses a machine devised in France by an engineer who was undergoing physiotherapy following a car accident.  Originally designed to make the physiotherapist’s work easier, the machine proved to offer other benefits.

The technique, called Lipo Massage, is administered by specially trained therapists who use the equipment to manipulate the skin’s underlying fat cells in order to break down and reduce fluid in the surrounding connective tissues.  The result is a smoother appearance and improved circulation to the area treated.

Each treatment begins with a thorough consultation to assess problem areas.  A tailored programme of treatments is recommended according to each individual client’s needs, usually beginning with twice-weekly appointments.  Clients begin to see results in as little as six treatments, but the overall result is usually most evident after a course of between 10 and 20 treatments.
