Vellus hair: Dannes Alkaline Wash

Vellus hair is the fine, downy hair that appears on the sides of the face, upper lip and chin.  It often occurs when women are pregnant, menopausal or suffering from severe stress and can be difficult to eradicate permanently.  Most women keep it at bay with waxing or threading it, but it usually grows back.

The Dannes Alkaline Wash was devised by a dermatologist to remove Vellus hair permanently.  After a detailed consultation and patch test, an alkaline paste is applied to the area. The alkaline raises the PH level of the skin and destroys the superficial root underneath.  The area is then returned to its normal PH level and is left smooth and hair free.

Results can be achieved with as little as three to six treatments.
